Debt Manager is a personal finance application designed to help you track money you owe to others or that others owe you. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

## 2. Data Collection

**Debt Manager does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.**

All data you enter in the app — including debt records, transaction history, notes, and attachments — is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database. No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

## 3. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored locally on your device:

- Debt and supplier records (title, description, amount, currency, type, date)
- Transaction records (amount, date, note, attachment file path)
- Image and PDF attachments copied to your device's app storage
- App preferences (theme mode, language setting)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the Export feature to create a backup file and share it yourself.

## 4. Attachments and File Access

When you add an attachment to a transaction, the app reads the selected file from your device storage and copies it to the app's private storage directory. The app only accesses files you explicitly select through the system file picker.

## 5. Export and Import

The Export feature allows you to share a copy of your local database file using your device's share system (e.g., saving to Files, sending via email). This action is entirely initiated and controlled by you. The app does not automatically upload or sync any data.

The Import feature allows you to restore a previously exported database file. Only valid database files exported from Debt Manager are accepted.

## 6. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

Debt Manager does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or third-party SDK services. No data is shared with any third party.
